DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO EXPRESS YOUR LOVE Little children, let us not love in Word or talk but in deed and in truth. How do you and your spouse express your love? Take a moment and write down those things that quickly come to mind. How many of those ideas you wrote down moved beyond the materialistic? Perhaps you, like me came up with many awesome ideas of gifts, and should certainly be used from time to time, but none of those things can prove your heart to be true. The ONLY way to know if you have true love is to see whether it stands the test of time. Has it endured hardship, boredom, and pain? Has it weathered life’s busyness? Has it withstood the pressures of job, family, and home, the stresses of middle and old age? Time alone will tell. Respect each other, encourage each other, and serve each other minute by minute, hour by hour. You determine whether the love you have is true over time…You can begin right now!
