Together Stacy and I have learned that true love can ONLY be tested through time. True Love is tested through hardships, boredom, and pain. True love has to whether through life's busyness, while withstanding the pressures of Job, family, and home, middle and old age. You determine whether the LOVE you have is true over time. Daily Post
One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. Romans 14:5-7.
A pattern of holy days characterized the Jewish year, and its probably to these that Paul refers, and not to the Sabbath. If the Sabbath were in view it would have been more natural to say, “One man considers the Sabbath above the other days.” Verses 6,7 appeal to what is shared by both groups, namely the desire to honor the same Lord. That both belong to Him puts minor divisions into perspective. Who do you have sit in division with in your life hat needs to be put into perspective and reminded that they belong to God?
